|American Legion Post 305 - April - 2019
From the Legion Commander
Hello Legion Family,
April will be continuously busy for our Legion with our Fish Fry’s. We will continue this great meal every Friday of
Lent up to and including Good Friday prior to Easter. Our Fish Fry’s would not be a success without our tremendous
volunteers. Kelly and myself want to wish everyone a wonderful Easter holiday season.
Last Month we started of with our Breakfast which is always a success, then we went right into our Polish Meal
headed up by Tom and Donna Basarabski. The Polish meal was a tremendous event and a Big Thank You to Tom
and Donna and the many volunteers that make this event happen. I do have to say sorry for all that missed out on
this meal due to the overwhelming response. We ran out of orders before 5pm which was not expected.
The Legion will be having another raffle coming up very soon and this time it will be a Henry Rifle. After the
paperwork is all done we will have flyers out and start selling tickets.
Our next Legion meeting we will have a guest from the 5th District to keep us up on everything going on within the
District and Department. Also, we will be having nominations for our upcoming elections in May.
Again Thank You All for the continued support to our Legion without you all nothing would be possible
Upcoming Events for the Legion:
Fish Fry’s Continuing until Easter and Henry Rifle Raffle.
Look forward seeing you at the Legion
